Characteristics of PC/PET plastic alloy:
PC/PET grade has the highest modulus and thermal deformation temperature (1.8 GPa at 113oC) and an IQ grade. Other advantages of these resins include good chemical resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient (as low as 4.5, Xenoy grade 8), excellent fatigue resistance, low creep resistance, and thermal deformation temperature 9 C higher than that of non-filled Xenoy. Good surface characteristics, improved hydrolysis stability, good weatherability and color retention. Injection molding, blow molding, extruded profiles and sheets and thermoforming. Potential applications include power tool housing, energy dampers, door handles, fuel tank caps, equipment housing, motion and safety equipment, etc.
The tensile modulus is 2.89 to 4.60GPa and the bending modulus is 2.69 to 4.24GPa. The Izod notch impact strength of three grades is 598 to 747J / M (23 degrees), and 117 ~ 149J / m at a 3O temperature.
PC/PET alloy: PET has good mechanical properties and chemical resistance. PC/PET has both rigidity and heat resistance of PC and solvent resistance of PET, and the addition of PET can improve the processing fluidity of PC.
